Storytelling

I began reading the information on storytelling and I think that the concept of having two different stories in one movie is going to be a little different than what we're used to. Especially two stories that according to what I read are supposed to have nothing to do with each other. I have seen movies where there is more than one story but they usually relate to each other in some way. Which is why I feel this movie will be different. I love the fact that the director chose to cover the "inappropriate" scene with the red box to mock the people who decide what rating the movie should receive. In a way it was his way of throwing it back in their faces and saying he thought it was ridiculous. I will not be able to make it to class to see the film, so I was wondering if the movie was easy to find so I can watch it on my own.

  1. I checked to see if Storytelling is available on Netflix and it is...though its not on streaming video. Any rental place should have it, too.

I have a copy to circulate after tonight, but there is already one person ahead of you in the queue.

I think that, of course, there are plenty of connections between the two parts of the film, but they are there for the viewer to work out...
