Storytelling
We watch very interesting movies in this class. Storytelling was strange and sort of depressing. I think it showed the ugly side of life and how everything isn't always sugar coated. Like Vi sleeping with the writer who basically raped her, thinking it would be something positive, turned out being a complete nightmare. And Scooby's life was a mess, and how there are alot of evil people in the world who could care less. I dont know how many people could identify with the problems the characters faced, but the director definitely got his point across. Racism was depicted really well. He pretty much got all of the stereotypes people generally associate races with. Like the rich Jew, the agressive sexual black guy, the stupid naive white girl who will do anything, the pot head with no ambitions in life, the Spanish cleaning lady, etc. The red box in my opinion was a great way to mock the rating system.

Camera Eye
Its so true people do change in front of a camera!! I dont know what it is, i guess its fun to want to be observed. It's like we become someone else, someone we want others to like. poor kid who was getting beat up thats terrible.

Hamlet
Im interested to see how this movie is made. I like the idea of turning something "classic" into something modern. It will probably be more interesting to watch no offense to Shakespeare movies. I cant wait to see how Hamlet can be portrayed in a NYC life style.

also professor is there any way to make up for not so good grades on our papers?
